A frontal system has moved onto the North Coast and will give snow to northwest BC today and reach the north Rockies this afternoon. The front will move across the province on Thursday bringing snow to the Columbias near midday while snow is expected only on the higher peaks for the coast.
On Friday, the front will linger over South Columbias and South Rockies as it exits the province. Elsewhere a clearing trend is expected as cooler air follows in the wake of the front. Continued clearing and dry conditions are expected Saturday as an upper ridge builds offshore.
Models are in good agreement through Saturday so confidence is moderate to high.
