A warm front moving inland is bringing milder air aloft over the Northern BC Coast and BC Interior. Heavy snow is expected to continue today for North Coast Inland – with Stewart expected to see upwards of 20 cm. For inland valleys along the north coast, and areas in the Central Interior, Northern Interior and BC Peace River surface temperatures will struggle to rise about the freezing mark. Sub-zero temperatures in combination with warm air aloft will lead to a risk of freezing rain today and tonight – with the North Coast Inland and BC Peace River experiencing the greatest risk.
