Weather Overview December 4, 2013

A strong Arctic high remains in place over central Yukon
and cold air persists over BC with the Arctic front draped along the BC coast. Generally clear and cold conditions will persist over BC and the Yukon, except for near a weak low pressure centre which passes near Vancouver Island on Thursday. The low will likely bring some cloud and a trace of precipitation to the south coast. The GEM, ECMWF and GFS are all developing a similar solution with small precipitation amounts. From the end of this week to Sunday, the Arctic air remains over the province.
